Description Assistant Manager - Finance - Financial Accounting Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for managing reconciliation and revenue accounting activities for Third Party Products (TPP) including Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Bonds, Loan Against Securities (LAS), and other partner-led offerings. The role involves ensuring accurate reconciliation of business transactions, timely invoice processing, payment tracking, partner coordination, and MIS reporting while maintaining compliance with internal policies and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Reconciliation Revenue Management
Prepare and maintain revenue and income reconciliation for Third Party Products including Mutual Funds, Insurance, Fixed Deposits, Bonds, LAS, and other partner offerings.
Reconcile invoices, commissions, payouts, and receivables received from various third-party partners.
Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transaction data.
Partner Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with Asset Management Companies (AMCs), insurance companies, lending partners, and other product partners for reconciliation and payment-related matters.
Liaise with business teams and finance stakeholders to resolve operational and accounting issues.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
MIS Reporting
Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports to support business and finance teams.
Generate reconciliation reports, revenue reports, and management dashboards.
Support month-end closing activities through timely data preparation and submission.
Process Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and operational guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for reconciliation activities.
Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary data and reconciliations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Educational Qualifications
CA Inter (Mandatory)
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Experience
3 7 years of experience in Finance, Reconciliation, Revenue Assurance, or Operations.
Experience in handling Third Party Products (Mutual Funds, Insurance, Bonds, FD, LAS, etc.) within the Stock Broking, Wealth Management, NBFC, or Financial Services industry will be preferred.
Exposure to partner payout and commission reconciliation processes is an added advantage.
Required Skills Competencies
Strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of financial products and capital markets will be an advantage.
