1. Core Responsibilities


Provide analytical support to the core finance function through the development and maintenance of the financial models required to support Financial Reporting across various areas of the business, including but not limited to; monthly principal & interest reporting, third party board packs, UK Finance and Forbearance & Impairment reporting.
Support in technical Financial Analytics, mortgage asset performance reporting issues, actively building competence on these functions within the team, designing and developing the quality of reports to Board level as required, including but not limited to; Balance sheet performance reporting and analytics, mortgage product analysis and performance trend reporting.
Proactively support the management of all Financial Analytics and Securitisation Reporting processes, including but not limited to; data gathering, system change, validation, analytical presentation and reporting.
Protect the financial risk of the business in the reporting of external RMBS & STS performance to external non-regulatory bodies, investors and rating agencies in business originated mortgage assets. Acting as the servicer for all securitised deals across the group, liaising with cash managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly investor reporting and ESMA & BoE loan level data tapes.
To ensure that you comply with policies and procedures, and all communications with customers take into account up to date legislative and regulatory responsibilities.
Establish and maintain a controlled and auditable framework, ensuring a robust analytical environment is in place and is consistently applied across the business.
Take a SME supporting role in the wider Finance team, upholding good communication with your line manager and the wider finance function.
Ensure that you fully understand and comply with the organisations Risk Management Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day to day work that you put customers at the heart of everything you do.

2. Experience Requirements


12-24 months previous experience of working within a reporting function and / or working with financial models is desirable. Relevant academic studies will also be considered.
6 months previous experience of working and analysing data is essential
Experience of working within the financial services industry or a finance function is preferred

3. Knowledge Requirements


Sound accounting knowledge / experience are essential.
Basic knowledge of mortgage industry and loan book is essential
Basic knowledge of excel functions and how to apply these functions is essential


4. Skill and Competency Requirements


Excellent numerical skills are essential.
Intermediate IT skills in respect of Microsoft Excel & Word are essential.
Good analytical skills and the ability to problem solve is desirable.
Ability to interact with people at all levels in an organisation is essential.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and presentational skills are essential.
Ability to prioritise and work to strict monthly deadlines is essential.
Ability to work both within a team and on own initiative is essential.
