| Description | PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant The PeopleSoft Functional Consultant is responsible for end-to-end functional ownership, translating business requirements into PeopleSoft solutions, configuring modules, and ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Consultancy & Solution Design Lead requirement gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions Perform fit-gap analysis and define functional solution design Prepare BRD, FDD, Solution Design Documents, Test Scenarios Define process improvements aligned to ERP best practices 2. Configuration & Implementation Configure PeopleSoft FSCM modules such as: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Management, Billing, Cash Collection and allocation. Support implementations, rollouts, and enhancements Conduct UAT, SIT and support deployment 3. Business Process Ownership Drive end-to-end processes: Record-to-Report (R2R) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements 4. Stakeholder & Delivery Management Act as primary interface between business and IT Conduct user training and change management Support governance, status reporting, and client communication 5. Integration & Reporting Collaboration Work with technical teams on integrations (banking, tax, third-party systems) Validate financial reports (nVision, Query, BI Publisher) Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Strong experience in PeopleSoft FSCM functional areas Hands-on configuration experience Strong understanding of Finance Documentation expertise: BRD, FDD Good to Have Exposure to global programs / multi-country deployments Knowledge of compliance (SOX, audit frameworks) Experience with ERP transformation programs Experience 8-10 years of Peoplesoft Finance Functional hands on experience |
