| Description | Job description JOB DESCRIPTION - Planning Engineer 1. Project Scheduling & Control Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project. Integrate design, procurement, and construction timelines Monitor progress against baseline 2. Resource Planning & Optimization Forecast manpower, equipment, and material requirements. Align resource allocation with project milestones and budget constraints. Recommend adjustments to improve productivity and reduce idle time. 3. Cost Estimation & Budgeting Collaborate with cost engineers to prepare accurate budgets. Track actual vs. planned expenditures and report variances. Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives. 4. Risk Analysis & Mitigation Planning Identify schedule-related risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a risk register and update contingency plans. 5. Stakeholder Reporting & Communication Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards, S-curves, and progress reports. Present schedule updates to internal teams, clients, and contractors. Translate technical data into strategic insights for decision-makers. 6. Required Qualification B-Tech in Civil Engineering with experience of 8-10 years in Project planning 7. Technical Skills Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD and Excel Role: Billing / Planning Engineer |
