Software Engineer I - JD Job Description As a Software Engineer I, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with cell-based architecture principles. Key Responsibilities Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code that meets the needs of our platform. Perform testing and participate in code reviews to ensure the quality, security, and performance of the software. Contribute to comprehensive technical documentation for both new and existing software systems to facilitate understanding and future development. Work across geographic and organizational boundaries to define requirements, scope work, develop features, and integrate functionality into the platform. Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and architects to design and implement solutions that align with the platforms goals and technical strategy. Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support to maintain platform stability and address any issues that arise. Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills and contribute to the teams success. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Minimum two years of software development experience using Java as a server-side programming language. Java is a must-have; proficiency in other languages such as Go, Node, or Python is a significant advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast- paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline concepts and related tools. Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Development experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools specifically for cloud Backend Software Engineer II- JD The Job We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to work side by side with other engineers to develop and maintain applications across the customer journey & lifecycle. You will collaborate and align with your colleagues to ensure deliverables comply with requirements and needs of our customers. This will include engineering managers, product managers, software and data engineers. Key Responsibilities and Duties Develop and maintain APIs, tools and capabilities to centralise data events. Solve technical problems to improve our development process, increase our efficiency and unlock new business opportunities. Contribute to technical discussion around software architecture and help the team to make decisions that are agile, incremental and beneficial for the long term Systematically identify patterns and underlying issues in complex situations, and to find solutions by applying logical and analytical thinking Provide stable and well defined solutions to simplify and accelerate business decisions as well as strengthen the integrity of our payment pipelines. The job requirements Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with strong knowledge of at least one language like Java (Preferrable), Python or Golang.
