The basic pay is at Level-10 in the Pay Matrix ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500. In addition to the basic pay, the post carries Dearness Allowance (DA), Special Compensatory Allowance (applicable while posted in specified border areas), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), and Free Medical Facilities for the officer and family.
