| Description | Job Description : Proficiency with complete relay and controls detailed design for utility substations 115kV and above (IED selection, Schematics, three-lines, one-lines, wiring diagrams, panel fronts, control building layouts, etc.) Ability to develop protection philosophies from Scratch (i.e. IEEE standards, utility standards, and other industry standards) and create Protection one lines Proficiency in calculating AC Load Studies and station service sizing. Can carry out DC Load study and battery sizing calculations. Can calculate cable voltage drops and cable tray loading calculations. Familiar with CT Saturation calculations and tap selections. Preparation of SCADA architecture drawing which covers all IED’s, protection switch, GPS, Real Time Automation Controller Experience with development of control building specifications desired but not required Working knowledge of SKM, ETAP and/or ASPEN desired, but not required Relay protection calculations and settings experience desired, but not required Arc-Flash calculations and experience desired, but not required |
