| Description | Job Opening: Accounts Executive Company: Octanom Tech Pvt Ltd Location: Bandra, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Bandra. The ideal candidate will support our daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping and efficiency in our accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping: Assist in maintaining comprehensive accounts and financial records using Tally Prime/ERP. Data Management: Perform accurate data entry for invoices, payment vouchers, and day-to-day transactions. Reporting: Prepare and update detailed MS Excel sheets for financial tracking and management reports. Reconciliation: Support the senior team in bank reconciliations and periodic ledger verifications. Billing & Invoicing: Handle the preparation of invoices and manage billing activities. Documentation: Systematically organize and maintain physical and digital financial records for easy retrieval and audit purposes. General Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the accounts department for routine accounting tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications Software Proficiency: Practical knowledge of Tally Prime or Tally ERP 9. Technical Skills: Strong command over MS Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, and basic formulas). Accounting Knowledge: A solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles (Golden Rules of Accounting, GST basics, etc.). Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and record maintenance. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
