| Description | We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electro-mechanical panel and subsystem design, drafting, and documentation. This role requires collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient task completion and delivery of high-quality designs. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electro-mechanical panels and subsystems with a focus on sheet metal components. Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation adhering to industry standards. Collaborate and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure design feasibility and resolve issues. Ensure designs comply with manufacturing capabilities and standards by applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Create general assembly layouts and component placements, keeping ergonomics and aesthetics in mind. Manage multiple tasks and complete assignments within defined timelines. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech). 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design. Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D mechanical modeling) and AutoCAD. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints. Ability to create ergonomic and aesthetic assembly layouts. Desired Skills: Knowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA). Experience with product design lifecycle. Skills in cable routing using 3D modeling tools |
