| Description | Job description Role Movement & Job Description Role Overview The Senior Manager Legal will build, lead, and manage the Legal and Compliance Services delivery for a global Private Equity / Alternate Investment Management client. The role supports high-stakes, transaction-driven, and regulated environments and is responsible for end-to-end legal operations and compliance service delivery across AML/KYC, regulatory compliance, data privacy compliance, NDA and Engagement Letters management, and legal & compliance data management and reporting. Principal Responsibilities 1. Service Delivery Leadership Lead end-to-end delivery of legal and compliance services including AML/KYC, regulatory compliance, data privacy compliance, NDA and Engagement Letters management, and legal/compliance reporting. Ensure adherence to quality, turnaround time (TAT), confidentiality, and regulatory standards. Drive operational excellence through playbooks, SLA frameworks, escalations, and root cause analysis. 2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for customer senior leadership. Conduct governance meetings (monthly/quarterly) covering performance, insights, risks, and opportunities. Maintain alignment with customer business priorities, risk appetite, and compliance expectations. 3. Strategic Planning & Transformation Partner with stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps. Drive process standardization, harmonization, and automation. Lead transitions, knowledge transfers, ramp-ups, and change management. 4. Financial & Commercial Management Manage account P&L, forecasting, budgets, billing accuracy, and margin optimization. Identify cost reduction opportunities through offshoring, automation, Lean, and resource optimization. Prepare financial reviews, variance analyses, and growth projections. 5. People Leadership & Capability Building Lead multi-location teams including lawyers, paralegals, and compliance analysts. Drive capacity planning, workforce management, talent development, and succession planning. Promote a culture of compliance, confidentiality, ethics, and continuous learning. 6. Innovation, Insights & Value Realization Develop BI dashboards for SLA performance, volumes, forecasting, and risk indicators. Quantify and communicate value delivered through savings, cycle-time improvements, and standardization. |
