Key Responsibilities: - Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to the medical team. - Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed. - Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation. - Support and assist in various medical procedures and interventions. - Ensure equipment and instruments are sterilized and functioning properly. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ICU environment. - Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. - Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care to ensure patient safety. - Assist in the orientation of new staff members. You are Responsible for - Managing and supervising all activities within the ICU, ensuring optimal patient care is delivered at all times. - Coordinating the care of critically ill patients, developing treatment plans in conjunction with medical staff, and monitoring patient progress. - Leading and mentoring the nursing staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. - Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to patient care and safety. - Ensuring effective communication with patients’ families regarding treatment progress and care plans.
