| Description | Job description ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a Financial Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization (Power BI) to support the Finance team. This role will focus on turning raw financial and operational data into actionable insights for decision-making. The successful candidate will build dashboards, streamline reporting, and partner with senior finance leaders to improve transparency, accuracy, and performance tracking. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor financial and operational KPIs. Work with Manager/Senior Manager Finance to automate reporting packs for monthly, quarterly, and board-level reviews. Perform detailed variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting using BI tools and advanced Excel. Collect, validate, and analyse large data sets across finance, sales, and operations for performance tracking. Support development of data models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and meaningful insight generation. Proactively identify process improvement and automation opportunities in reporting and analytics. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements while handling data. QUALIFICATION AND OTHER EXPERTISE Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field. (CA/ICWA/MBA/CFA preferred). 2 to 4 years experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business intelligence. Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualisation, automation). Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with ability to handle large data sets. Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages is an advantage. Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance metrics. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
