Description Role: Infor LN Finance Consultant



Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

Serve as the primary point of contact for Infor LN customers, providing remote (phone/online) functional support for LN Finance issues.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional problems across Finance modules.
Take ownership of escalated issues and drive them to resolution by coordinating with internal teams and the software vendor.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, support guidelines, and quality standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Act as a liaison between customers and the Infor support/product teams for defect resolution and enhancements.
Communicate clearly with business users, IT teams, and external vendors regarding issue status, root cause, and resolution.
Functional Expertise & Continuous Improvement

Provide expert guidance and best-practice recommendations on Infor LN Finance processes.
Continuously enhance functional knowledge through training and hands-on experience with Infor LN upgrades and features.
Document solutions, workarounds, and knowledge articles for reuse and operational efficiency.
ITSM & Service Management

Work within an ITSM ticketing system to log, track, and manage service requests, incidents, and problem resolutions.
Ensure accurate time tracking, issue categorization, and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Infor LN Finance (Baan experience is acceptable).
Proven experience implementing and supporting multi-company and multi-site environments.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Experience working in structured IT service delivery and support environments.
Functional Skills & Experience

Strong functional expertise in Infor LN / Baan Finance modules, including:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
General Ledger (GL)
Cash Management
Financial Statements & Reporting
Good understanding of multi-site operations in LN CE.
Ability to analyze business requirements and map them to Infor LN Finance functionality.
Experience supporting end users in a customer-facing role.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with Infor LN upgrades, migrations, or rollouts.
Exposure to global finance operations and statutory requirements.
ITIL or ERP-related certifications.
Salary 14-24 Lacs P.A.
