| Description | Role & responsibilities Branch Operations Oversee daily life insurance operations including proposal processing, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, revivals, and servicing requests. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in documentation, premium processing, and policy records. Monitor and improve turnaround times (TAT). Team Management Lead, train, and supervise branch operations and customer service staff. Allocate work, track productivity, and ensure adherence to processes. Conduct performance reviews and support team development. Sales & Business Support Provide operational support to sales teams, agents, and channel partners. Ensure timely issuance of policies to support business targets. Coordinate with underwriting and medical teams for case closures. MIS & Reporting Prepare and submit operational MIS, compliance reports, and dashboards. Track branch-level metrics such as policy issuance TAT, persistency, and service quality. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of life insurance products and operations Sound understanding of IRDAI regulations and life insurance compliance Team leadership and people management skills Customer-centric approach and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and process orientation Proficiency in MS Office and life insurance core systems |
