About the Role

We are looking for a senior tax and incentive leader to head the organizations Direct & Indirect Taxation, Government Incentives, and Financial Control functions. This role will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to ensure statutory compliance, tax efficiency, incentive realization, and strong financial governance within a large manufacturing / multinational environment.

Candidates with experience from leading organizations such as Samsung, Haier, or other reputed manufacturing / financial institutions will be preferred.



Location & Deployment Requirements


Candidates from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana are highly preferred (Telugu-speaking candidates preferred).
Candidate must be willing to relocate to Sri City (Andhra Pradesh) upon selection.
Post-selection, candidate must be willing to undergo 3-6 months training at Greater Noida before final deployment at Sri City.
First round of selection will be an AI-based interview assessment.
Key Responsibilities


1. Direct & Indirect Taxation

Lead end-to-end Direct Tax, GST, TDS, Customs, and other statutory tax compliance activities.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, reconciliations, and statutory submissions.
Handle tax assessments, notices, audits, and litigation matters in coordination with consultants and authorities.
Interpret changes in tax laws and proactively assess their impact on business operations.
Drive tax planning strategies to ensure compliance while optimizing tax efficiency.
2. Investment Incentives & Government Schemes

Manage State Government Investment Incentives, including Mega Category I, II, III and other applicable incentive schemes.
Own the complete lifecycle of incentive management:
Eligibility analysis
Application preparation
Documentation and submission
Follow-up with government departments
Realization and accounting of incentives
Maintain strong liaison with state and central government authorities, consultants, and auditors.
Track incentive utilization, realization schedules, and compliance conditions.
3. Customs, Export & Trade Incentives

Oversee Customs duty, export incentive schemes, and trade-related benefits.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation, and audits.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and compliance teams for smooth import/export operations.
4. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial accounting, statutory books, and financial statements.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
Review and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
5. Budgeting, Fund Planning & Cash Flow

Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and fund planning activities.
Monitor cash flow, tax outflows, incentive inflows, and working capital impact.
Provide strategic inputs for financial decision-making and risk mitigation.
6. ERP Systems & Process Excellence

Drive effective utilization of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) for taxation, accounting, and reporting.
Lead system-driven improvements, automation initiatives, and process standardization.
Ensure strong data accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting controls within ERP.
7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the tax and finance team to ensure high performance and compliance culture.
Act as a key business partner to internal stakeholders including finance, legal, operations, and supply chain teams.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Support CFO with analytical insights, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
Candidate Profile

Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
Experience

12-15 years of relevant experience in taxation, incentives, and finance leadership roles
Strong exposure in manufacturing / multinational organizations
Hands-on experience in state investment incentive management is mandatory
Age Preference

35-40 years
Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong expertise in Direct & Indirect Tax Laws (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax)
Deep knowledge of Customs, Export Incentive Schemes, and Government Subsidies
Excellent understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls
Proficiency in SAP / Oracle, MS Excel, and PowerPoint

Proven leadership capability with team handling experience
