The role involves maintaining computer systems, networks, educational software, and providing technical support to staff and students to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage school computer systems, servers, printers, smart boards, and networking equipment Provide technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and students Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and operating systems Manage school ERP, learning management systems, and educational software Ensure data security, backups, antivirus protection, and system integrity Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly Maintain IT inventory, licenses, and documentation Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, upgrades, and AMC services Support online classes, digital exams, and school technology initiatives Ensure compliance with school IT policies and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field 1–3 years of experience in IT support (school/education sector preferred) Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, hardware troubleshooting Familiarity with smart classroom tools, projectors, and audio-visual systems Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Skills Experience with school ERP or education management systems Knowledge of cloud tools (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365) Basic understanding of website or database management |
