| Description | We are seeking a skilled Motor Control Engineer with strong expertise in developing embedded software for electric motors and inverters. The role involves designing and implementing advanced motor control algorithms, working closely with power electronics hardware, and optimizing performance for applications in electric vehicles, automotive systems, and home appliances. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded C programming, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and ARM microcontrollers, with a deep understanding of motor control methods and power electronics. Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize firmware for motor controllers (BLDC, PMSM, Induction Motors, Inverters). • Work with power electronics hardware and perform debugging using oscilloscopes, current probes, and other tools. • Implement motor control techniques such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and 6-step commutation. • Perform motor control parameter tuning and develop algorithms for improved performance and efficiency. • Develop and maintain code in Embedded C for real-time applications. • Use MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and validation of motor control and power electronics systems. • Contribute to software development for electric vehicles (EV), including both low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) applications. • Work on ARM Cortex-M/A microcontroller-based systems, ensuring efficient and reliable firmware solutions. Requirements: • Experience in Motor Controller Firmware development (BLDC Motor/PMSM Motor/Induction Motor/Inverters). • 2 Exposure to Power Electronics hardware development and debugging using Oscilloscope/Current probes. • 3 Field-Oriented control (Should have knowledge in Motor control software development), 6-step commutation control methods. • Experience in motor control parameter tuning and Algorithms for the same. • Experience in Embedded C. • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink modelling for power electronics-based applications. • Experience in Software development for electric vehicles in BLDC Motors, automotive, and LV, HV applications in home appliances, automotive, etc. • Hands-on experience working on ARM Cortex-M/A based microcontrollers.
