| Description | How to Apply The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor has to submit ONLINE APPLICATION ONLY For the posts mentioned in Sr. No. 1-12, Candidates must submit self-attested hard copies of all documents uploaded online on the Kamdhenu University Portal to the Registrar, Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar by Speed Post/Courier on or before 7 February 2026 It is mandatory to submit advance copy, if proper channel copy cannot reach before last date of application The maximum number of candidates to be called for the personal interview for the selection in the University is fixed as follows Minimum 50% marks in personal interview of the candidate is must to make recommendation for selection Candidate shall remain present at every stage of the recruitment process Age Limit A candidate shall not be more than 55 years of age Below 45 years Below 35 years Qualification A First-Class Bachelor's degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences A Master's Degree in the concerned faculty with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent grade A Ph.D. degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences or equivalent qualification Essential Qualification An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality Desirable Qualification Experience of not less than five years in managing an important research institute or experimental station or research laboratory or teaching institute Significant accomplishment in the field of research as evidenced by publication of papers of academic excellence in scientific journals Experience At least 15 years' experience in teaching and or research and or extension education work in Veterinary or Allied Sciences of which not less than 5 years shall be as Professor or its equivalent post A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor |
