| Description | JOB DESCRIPTION: • This is often a college graduate who has mastered the basic principles of the role and is able to handle more complex problems and projects. • Most problems they handle require standard solutions. • They may manage small projects with oversight from their supervisor. • Provides second and third level support on standard systems, investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems on selected network components. • Evaluates, designs, analyzes and maintains LAN / WAN for new and existing sites. • Installs, configures, optimizes and maintains routers and layer 2 and 3 switches along with other networking equipment. • Makes recommendations on development of innovative and costeffective solutions to problems of clients. • Monitors and evaluates network systems tracking performance and problems recommending and implementing solutions and improvements. • Develops updates and audits network documentation • Identifies, diagnoses and resolves more complex problems affecting network performance. • Schedules and coordinates installation and maintenance of standard software / hardware on the network and ensures compatibility of all communications and computer hardware / software. |
