Applications must be submitted online by following the step-by-step process given below.

Visit the official JKSSB online application portal and complete the online registration using a valid mobile number and email ID.
Login with the generated credentials and fill the online application form by entering personal, educational, and category-related details exactly as per original documents.
Once the online application form is submitted, no changes or corrections will be allowed at any later stage. Candidates must therefore review all details carefully and ensure complete accuracy before final submission.
Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph and signature, along with scanned copies of required documents. The photograph and signature must be clear and legible.
Pay the applicable application fee online using net banking, debit card, or credit card. Submit the form on or before 02-03-2026 (Mar 02, 2026).
After successful submission, download and keep a printout or soft copy of the application form for future reference. No need to send the print copy to JKSSB at this stage.

Final Merit
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination, including applicable NCC bonus marks. The Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test will be qualifying in nature and will not carry any marks for merit calculation.State government jobs

Candidates selected against available vacancies as per the final merit will be required to undergo a Medical Examination to assess their physical and medical fitness. Only those candidates who are declared medically fit will be considered for final appointment.

Fee Structure :
Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

General / Open Merit / OBC / RBA / ALC-IB category candidates: Rs. 700
SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / EWS category candidates: Rs. 600

The written examination will be conducted to prepare the merit list. The test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions and will be held in English language only. Negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be applicable for each wrong answer.

Candidates possessing valid National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates will be awarded bonus marks in the written examination as per the prescribed scale. The bonus marks will be added to the marks obtained in the written test for preparation of merit.

NCC “C” Certificate holders will be awarded bonus marks equal to 5 percent of the maximum marks of the written examination.
NCC “B” Certificate holders will be awarded bonus marks equal to 3 percent of the maximum marks of the written examination.
NCC “A” Certificate holders will be awarded bonus marks equal to 2 percent of the maximum marks of the written examination.
