Educational Qualifications:
Professor (MD, MS, DNB, M.Sc-Ph.D):
Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized medical institution OR
Specialist Medical Officer of the Armed Forces having at least three years of experience as Associate Professor in the relevant speciality in a teaching hospital of the Armed Forces
Must have published at least two research publications after becoming Associate Professor and must be amongst the first three authors
Must have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from a recognised medical institution
Shall be required to undergo Basic Course in Medical Education provided their broad specialty subject is covered under undergraduate training
Associate Professor (MD, MS, DNB, M.Sc-Ph.D):
Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognised medical institution or for five years for those appointed directly as Assistant Professor in Government medical institution OR
Specialist Medical Officer of the Armed Forces, having at least five years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty after obtaining the recognised Postgraduate qualification in the subject, of which at least three years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a teaching hospital of the Armed Forces
Must have published at least two research publications after becoming Assistant Professor and must be amongst first three authors
Must have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from a recognised medical institution
Shall be required to undergo Basic Course in Medical Education provided their broad specialty subject is covered under undergraduate training
Assistant Professor (MD, MS, DNB, M.Sc-Ph.D):
One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognised medical institution OR
Specialist Medical Officers of the Armed Forces having at least one year teaching experience or two years of clinical experience after obtaining the requisite postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject OR
Non-teaching Consultant or Specialist or Medical Officer, possessing postgraduate medical degree with at least two years of experience in a Government hospital having at least 220 beds OR
Diploma holders appointed as Senior Residents in a recognised medical institution before 08.06.2017 having total experience of four years as Senior Resident OR
Diploma holders working as Specialist or Medical Officer in the respective departments of a government medical institution having cumulative experience of six years
Senior Resident (MD, MS, DNB):
Post Graduate Degree in Doctor of Medicine or Master of Surgery OR
Diplomate of National Board OR

Essential: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (M.O.T. M.O.Th./M.Sc. O.T.), with eight years' experience as Assistant Professor
Desirable: Higher Qualification, including a Ph.D. degree in any discipline of occupational therapy recognized by the UGC, and published work of high standard in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
Associate Professor (Medical Radiology):
M.Sc. in Medical Imaging (2 years course) with 10 years teaching experience OR
M.Sc. In Medical Imaging (2 years course) with 7 years teaching experience

Selection Process

Research Publication means only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews and case series
Publications must be in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus or Directory of Open Access Journals
